Those in the know will have been astounded by the new MacBook Air unveiled in Steve Jobs' keynote presentation the other day. By golly, it's thin. But how does it compare to other laptops on the market? Matthew takes a look at the MacBook Air, Toshiba Tecra and Toshiba Satellite Pro to see which really offers the most.
The Mac Mini is far from new, having been introduced back in 2005. However, following the sad demise of my G3 Blue & White (upgraded to 1GHz G4 processor, admittedly), I have splashed out and bought myself a (second hand) Mac Mini to serve as my primary computer. Apple’s cheapest offering ever, this minimalist computer seems to sum up their current image of “small yet beautiful”. However, it has been pointed out that Apple has not released an upgrade of their tiny computer at the same time as their desktops and laptops, begging the question “are they planning on discontinuing the Mac Mini?”
