If all else fails you can breathe new life into your old Epson printer by re-setting the counter. Epson build in a set number of cleaning cycles based on the theoretical capacity of the waste ink pad in the base of the printer. When that number has been reached they want you to go and buy a new printer (Epson, of course). If you're interested I can send you details of the re-setter utility and how to deal with the full ink pad.

Don't even think about buying a laser.....I struggle to come to terms with the fact that a full set of toner cartridges costs more than the price of a new printer of the same model !!!

I've gone back to inkjet printing (Canon) and am left large lump of expensive HP hardware that is apparently a consumable item !!
